one man dead after motorcycle accident in Lycoming Co.
One man has been pronounced dead after being thrown from his motorcycle in Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Friday, state police said.
According to a press release, David Nangle, 74, was traveling downhill trying to negotiate a right curve in the road on Route 15 when he struck a guide rail.
State police said Nangle was then thrown from his motorcycle down an embankment.
The press release states that his motorcycle continued to travel down the highway, striking a concrete barrier multiple times, before finally stopping a short distance away in the southbound lane of travel.

Fitzpatrick dove at Chubb’s legs in an effort to stop the Cleveland star near the Pittsburgh goal line early in the second quarter of what eventually became a 26-22 Steelers victory.
Chubb had Steelers linebacker Cole Holcomb on his back when Fitzpatrick struck Chubb’s left leg.

Authorities say first responders were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. Monday, to the intersection of David Street and Messenger Street, for reports of a single-vehicle rollover crash with two occupants entrapped.
Johnstown police say officers later learned that the driver, a female, had reportedly been shot in the head prior to crashing the car.

SCI Pine Grove reports first COVID-19 inmate death
INDIANA, Pa (WJAC) — According to a release from the Department of Corrections, SCI Pine Grove officials have reported the facility's first COVID-19 inmate death.
Authorities say the inmate, who will not be named, was a 38-year-old male who died at a local hospital.
Prison officials say the inmate had been at the Indiana County facility since January 2019 and was serving a 1-and-a-half to five year sentence for receiving stolen property.

According to USA Today, citing officials from the Houston Fire Department, approximately 25 passengers fell ill on United Flight 1528. Per the outlet, those individuals had been part of a group of 75. “Several passengers who had been on the same cruise and did not feel well were on United Flight 1528 from Vancouver to Houston Friday night,” a representative for United Airlines told USA Today.
