Ex-Steelers backup QB Mason Rudolph signs one-year deal with Tennessee
According to multiple reports, the Tennessee Titans have reportedly agreed to sign former Pittsburgh Steelers' backup quarterback Mason Rudolph to a one-year free agent deal.
The deal is reportedly worth over $3 million. Rudolph was drafted by the Steelers in 2018 and played in parts of four seasons for Pittsburgh.
He made 13 career starts as a Steeler and finished with a record of 8-4-1, including 3-0 while filling in during the 2023 season.

Toshiyuki Mimaki, who survived the bombing of Hiroshima when he was 3, said he has been fascinated by the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, often called “the father of the atomic bomb” for leading the Manhattan Project.
Yankees star Judge hits 62nd homer to break Maris AL record
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Aaron Judge took a smooth, mighty swing, then broke into a big smile as he trotted around the bases. Heading home, his teammates backed away, letting him touch the plate alone.
At last, the New York Yankees slugger had the American League home run record all to himself.
Judge hit his 62nd home run of the season Tuesday night, breaking Roger Maris’ AL record and setting what some fans consider baseball’s “clean” standard.
2020 Ebensburg PotatoFest canceled, organizers say
EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — The Ebensburg PotatoFest is now canceled.
It was supposed to be held on Sept. 26, the Ebensburg Main Street Partnership said in the announcement.
In its press release they said the health and safety of the community, volunteers and attendees was a top priority, and would have been difficult to maintain under current department of health and CDC guidelines.
Officials say they look forward to bringing the event back next year.
Goodwill greenhouse promotes growth in Clearfield County
FALLS CREEK, Pa. -- Goodwill Industries of North Central Pennsylvania started a greenhouse program to help those with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Clearfield County.
The program started two years ago and has quadrupled in size since.
"We are growing and seeding success with Goodwill every day because every time we come in something else is popping up," Heather Cyphert, greenhouse director, said.
"Seeding Success" is a small business program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Teacher accused of sexually abusing 8 children
ANNE ARUNDEL COUUNTY, Md. — An Anne Arundel County elementary school teacher has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing eight students.
Matthew Schlegel, 44, was taken into custody Thursday morning at his home in Severna Park. He faces more than 30 charges, ranging from second-degree assault to sex abuse of a minor. Schlegel is a third-grade math teacher at Severna Park Elementary school.
According to charging documents, all of the alleged victims are current or former students of Schlegel, and the alleged abuse occurred in the classroom.
What Is A Frost-Quake? Wait It's Real?
Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — You, like those of us here at the station, might have heard some unexplained noises outside. Then, when you might have gone out to look, you found nothing to explain the booms and vibrations. Well, it’s a winter phenomenon called frost quakes which are happening all over the region.
When asked, some residents knew what a frost quake was, while others laughed and thought it was a joke.
Winter weather causes accidents, delays on Pa. turnpike
SOMERSET – Winter weather affected many people who were using the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Monday. Those traveling on the turnpike likely ran into extensive delays and road closures.
The eastbound and westbound lanes were both closed Monday -- at different times -- for short periods due to tractor trailers jackknifing.
It was a busy day for first responders and road crews, as many drivers were not expecting snow after the warm weekend weather.
