(KATU) — A fast-moving wildfire burning in Skamania County, Washington has forced "Level 3" evacuations for everyone living within a two-mile radius of the blaze, state fire officials said. The Tunnel Five Fire tore through an estimated 540 acres as of Monday afternoon. Officials said at least 10 homes have been destroyed and 250 remain threatened. School officials say the funeral Mass for Grant Jeanjaquet and Vindy Kohan will be held Saturday, at 10 a.m., at Our Mother of Sorrows Church located along Tioga Street. Investigators say Jeanjaquet, an aspiring Navy nurse, was killed in the blaze last Wednesday while trying to escape from the first floor of the home.

Penguins acquire veteran forward in trade with Nashville

According to Penn State officials, the sprinkler valve ruptured around 7 p.m. Monday in Cedar Hall, affecting fewer than 60 rooms. Officials said they’ve been cleaning up since just before 11 p.m. Monday.
